I have a 2022 Kia Stinger, turbocharged. It takes 0w-20, and I usually use Mobil 1, but Supertech is $12 less for 5 quarts. The certification matches what the owners manual asks for. Any issue at all using the Supertech oil in place of Mobil 1? I change my oil every 6k miles.
I do kind of feel like a cheap ass for wanting to save $12, but wondering if there is any real difference between the M1 and Supertech if I consistently change the oil?
Entirely fine. Super tech is a decent oil just stay away from the Quaker state. Worked as a lube tech and even though it was the same viscosity as the other brands it was noticeably thinner
Independent oil analysis reviews show mobile1 is far superior. Think of it this way. If you change the oil often enough and cheap enough to save all that money for an early engine replacement there you go! /s
Ok, I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic for the entire message or just the last part.
Last part. Use decent quality parts and fluids and it will last longer
