Uh… holy shit… they got a 4.4 second 0-60 time. This thing hangs with the 500 horsepower Ford Mustang Dark Horse. 😭😭

Although, the 5-60 time is quite poor (6.0 seconds dead), showing that this thing is a peaky engine.

Its AWD. Not sure why thats surprising. Go look at APR Stage 1 Golf R times.

        Heck, C&D managed 3.9 with a stock Golf R.

VW engineers are all tearing up thinking about the abuse needed to get that number.

The 13.0 @ 106 1/4 mile time is probably more indicative of how powerful it feels than the 0-60.

Quite good, but not exactly like a Dark Horse.

Their 60-100 and top end power is probably worlds apart though. The 5.0 isn’t a torque heavy engine, but it’s like a rocket when it’s higher in the rev range.

Although, the 5-60 time is quite poor (6.0 seconds dead), showing that this thing is a peaky engine, but keep it in the higher rev ranges and it should be fun

I’m impressed that it essentially keeps pace with the STI S209:
