Their 60-100 and top end power is probably worlds apart though. The 5.0 isn’t a torque heavy engine, but it’s like a rocket when it’s higher in the rev range.
Although, the 5-60 time is quite poor (6.0 seconds dead), showing that this thing is a peaky engine, but keep it in the higher rev ranges and it should be fun

Its AWD. Not sure why thats surprising. Go look at APR Stage 1 Golf R times.
Heck, C&D managed 3.9 with a stock Golf R.
VW engineers are all tearing up thinking about the abuse needed to get that number.

The 13.0 @ 106 1/4 mile time is probably more indicative of how powerful it feels than the 0-60.
