The price of the OLED in Denmark is 640$ which is actually more than a PS5. I know that they are two very different consoles but hardware wise the PS5 seems superior considering the price. I’m really just trying to convince myself to buy a SteamDeck… Owners outside of Europe, would you still buy it if the price was 40% higher?

    40% higher than what? The SD is barely any cheaper in the US, the 512 OLED costs $549. As a European who’s gonna get one early next year, I think it’s definitely worth it. Comparing it to a PS5 is asinine, yeah both are gaming devices but that’s it. If you only consider performance per €/DKK, you already have your answer. The SD is attractive for loads of other reasons tho, and I say that as a PS5 owner.

    Edit: If you are saying the 512gb version costs $640 (converted from DKK), that is a different argument then, but I’m assuming that’s the price for the 1tb version as that would align closer with $ and € prices.
