When I first got the deck I tried playing football manger through epic games launcher and I couldn’t get the hang of it. Previously I used to play a lot on the switch lite and thought the controls worked really well but the deck didn’t feel the same.
Since picking the new one up though I tinkered with the buttons to see that you can assign things like a trigger key to moving the page forward or viewing an unread message, this makes it much easier to navigate.
I also found using the touch screen was difficult but now the mouse controls on the deck are a lot easier since I’m more used to the device.
I even find the screen size to be perfect for it too, everything is easily readable and the games look great on it.
Well worth picking up and spending some time with to get familiar with a new way of playing the game.

Glad to hear this! Do you play the console or pc version? I’ve not used a steam deck before but ordered oled to play FM as my macbook is on its last knees
That’s great to hear; is it simple to download mods for FM on the SD?
I can’t imagine going without skins, real name fix, graphics, etc.
I was thinking about streaming the game to my SD just so the main PC can do all the lifting with loading and stuff but I’m glad to hear it’s a good experience!
