This is a pretty niche problem, but IMO Crosscode is one of the essential Deck games and it’s currently basically unplayable on the new OLED deck from what I can tell.

There have historically been issues with stuttering that seem to have resolved themselves and I have zero issues playing this on my LCD deck or on my OLED desktop screen. However, on the OLED deck, for whatever reason, all of the colours are basically too bright, and as a result, are washed out. It’s to a point where it’s very nearly unplayable (you cannot for example tell when certain powered “jump” platforms are activated).

Anyone have a solution for this? I haven’t noticed this issue in other games yet (I am still installing a bunch but for example, no such issues with Sonic Mania, Hollow Knight or Gris) but it can’t just be this one game, surely.

Won’t be receiving mine until Friday but I have used HDR in Windows extensively. It sounds like the game has activated HDR mode but the display didn’t or vice versa. Can you disable the HDR feature in the QAM on SteamOS or turn off the HDR feature in Crosscode display settings?

my OLED is still in the mail, and I only have CrossCode on the Switch, so I can’t give any tested advice, but if I were troubleshooting this myself, I’d poke at the Adjust Display Colors and Use Native Color Temperature settings under Steam Menu -> Display
