Hello Everyone,
I would like to buy a new WIFI-6E router for gamestreaming for steam deck, money shouldn’t be an issue. I saw high end routers around 300-350 euros if it’s littlebit more that should be ok too. I plan to use moonlight and remote play. Moonlight was better on my chepo router, but it was far from perfect and I know my router is the weakest link because my rig has an RTX 4090.
So what do you guys recommend? Which router you tested so far? I don’t know if its against the rules to link items from german amazon, if it is just tell me the router name/part number.
Thanks
msi radix axe6600 has lowest latency, and latency is most important for real time uses like gaming. You can see it in this review, it has lowest latency in all cases tested.

Also from Germany here. Been using a Fritzbox 6660 cable after upgrading from the shitty ISP one. Not a single issue since. Moonlight is perfect. PS5 remoteplay via chiaki4deck is perfect. No artifacts and barely any noticeable delay at all. Actually insane how well it works. Bought mine for around 250€ a year ago. And the thing is my deck can only do WiFi 5 and it already is what I consider to be as perfect as it’s going to get.
I am getting mesh system, TP Link Deco X20 two pack. Already delivered, just to install now. I had a fairly good router, but the location was an issue as it was far and if I both played via moonlight and watched football on projector via wifi I felt it wasnt enough.

Is that WiFi 6 or 6E?
it is 6. 6E sounds neat in theory, but for the significant price premium it doesnt make sense where I live with thick walls as the 6ghz band is bad at at those. I found wifi 6 mesh the sweat spot
