When refueling, i shift to N and click the start/off button. That shuts both the engine and the ac, leaving only the infotainment on. How to turn off only the engine? My car is corolla 2022 CVT.

Infotainment is likely on a time delay, and will shut off. A/C usually requires a lot of energy, and typically only runs when the engine is off in a hybrid. But that requires the car to still be in the on position. I’m only guessing though, don’t know for sure.
Mechanic here! A/c is controlled by the compressor which is run by the serpentine belt that is run by the engine running. So it’s impossible to have a/c without the engine on
only way to do it involves turning the car off first, then pressing ‘Power’ with your foot off the brake pedal. Pressing once goes into accessory, a second time goes into ‘IG-ON’ (the same as ‘on’ on a normal car, all functions are available, except the engine isn’t running.
just make sure that you are “P”/park.
this if you have HSD and thus electric SC compressor.
car will eventually start up when the traction battery is drained enough.
The ac compressor is usually driven by the engine directly instead by the battery so it’s impossible.
