I have over a thousand games on Steam, and only four of them have HDR support…
Gotham Knights
Back 4 Blood
Mortal Kombat 10
Doom Eternal
That sucks. I really thought there would be more. Is there a reason that indies and stuff don’t implement HDR? Is it just difficult to implement on Steam in general?
I figure it’s not as easy as ticking the “HDR” box when rendering a game, but compared to console’s way of handling it, I’m rather confused.
Has anyone gotten HDR to work in Doom Eternal on Deck? I was surprised it didn’t work on my OLED Deck when it’s one of the best HDR titles on PC.
I haven’t had chance to try it myself yet but I’ve read that changing to Proton Experimental makes it work for Doom Eternal.
Sekiro, Elden Ring supports hdr too
The hdr tag was added recently and hasn’t been applied to all titles. Eg, cyberpunk
There are way more than those 4 games that have HDR. Plenty come out each year.
