Hello, Ive been working on trying to get my 1991 Land Cruiser to start. It was sitting for a couple months and would need jumps to get it started before crank no start issues happened. I have replaced battery, circuit opening relay, efi relay, fusible links for battery, and fuel pump. Car starts then dies when sprayed with starter fluid. I’m kind of losing hope here and might just take it to mechanic but want to try see if I can get some more help before I give up. I put the car in on position, check engine light does show up, but I don’t know if I hear the fuel pump turning on (don’t know what to look for) or my radio. It has been sitting for some time, so I’m wondering if I siphon out the gas and put new fuel in could this be the culprit to my cranking but no start car? It has 275,000 miles when I bought . Thanks!

Well it won’t cause it to not crank , it may cause it to not start. Check and see if you are even getting fuel pressure to start, if you are getting fuel pressure then I’d remove the gas and put some new gas and try that. You obviously have air and spark because it starts with starter fluid as you said.
