Was really interested into picking up an Steamdeck as well but kinda unsure which route to go (boils down to basically the same price).

Like are the battery and screen improvements really outshining the 1,5 TB of extra storage?

As someone who’s been running the LCD 512GB since Q3, get the OLED.

A lot of the best games to play on it won’t all be massive titles. And for the ones that might, it’s better to just have one or two installed a time just to avoid getting even more sidetracked by choice paralysis. With that in mind, with the OLED version, you’ll just have a better experience with those games.

If you need more space, get an SD card for those smaller, less demanding titles.

OLED and upgrade later, no questions. You can update the SSD whenever, but you can never update the screen.

I havent got my oled dwck yet but comparing the switch to the switch oled. Go for the oled, the display will blow you away alot more than being able to store more games will. You can only play one game at a time, but youre always using the screen.
