Hello everyone!

I’m going to see the UCL game against Manchester United on the 12th of December at Old Trafford. I managed to get hold of two seats for the game after applying months ago (I suppose someone gave up on their seats and I got lucky enough to get balloted), and I wanted to know if Bayern’s travelling fans tend to not see with a good eye supporters that are not from Munich, or Germany, or if they don’t really care as long as you’re a Bayern fan?

I live in England and have been a Bayern fan for years, but sadly I only managed to see one game in Munich back in 2018.

It would be worth saying that the friend who would come with me is not a Bayern fan, but he’s a big football fan and has been watching Bayern’s games with me for years, so I don’t know if that might represent a problem.

Thank you in advance to everyone who can help!

The Bayern Ultras are very welcoming, you’ll be fine. Just try to join in and enjoy it man! Also nice to see fellow Brits who are FC Bayern fans, I sometimes feel like I’m the only one lol.

Ultras are nice people, you can also choose to sit with old people upstairs, also good experience

I was in the away section with Bayern ultras in Mainz as a long time Bayern fan from Canada. Super nice people, when my neighbouring fans found out I was Canadian, they loved it. They chatted and joked around a bit. They gave me a beer. It was great. Although I guess being in England there will be no beer to share at the stadium.
