Can you apply for financing twice through Samsung/TD on your only Samsung account? I was about to trade in and purchase a new phone, but my previous line of credit expired two months ago. It is just left showing as Approved in my account, but $0 line of credit.

TD advised to create another Samsung account w/ different email to re-apply. That seems just silly.

Trying to speak with Samsung support about this now to relay an update back here for any future browsers.

    Whew, good luck mate. I had a financing issue for the last week and ended up buying outright because it was a literal disaster.

    It’s a line of credit like a credit card. So if you get a second account, it will hit your credit report again as a new credit card when it should be your old line of credit.

    You will do more harm than good if you do it their way.
