I was really concerned about Noita with a controller and it not being enjoyable. Being able to play Noita was a major reason for getting a SD since I am a nomad and dont have a gaming PC/Laptop. Just got my Deck yesterday and it is really the only game I’ve been playing most. So suffice to say I am thoroughly surprised and happy with how enjoyable it is to play on the Deck. Trackpad all the way for mouse control though. The joystick set up is a no go. At least with its original settings. I don’t mind the joystick controls as much anymore being able to freely move the cursor around but I generally use the trackpad controls most. There are community shared control settings that you can download and equip and modify it from there as you like. The default “recommended” controls that it starts you off with are complete @$$. Not sure why the devs would choose them as the best choice. So! Do not worry! Noita is super fun on the deck! Here is a video showing you how to manually set the controls. But I use a community posted control settings (probably made by this youtuber).
