For me it has to be Bayer Leverkusen, and Stuttgart the most where it feels like they can manage a good finish in the Bundesliga.
Girona, too has been surprising.
Ajax.
Girona , Leverkusen , Nice , Frosinone , Bologna
Girona winning the league has the leicester vibe
I disagree because in Leicester season all the title challenging clubs were in a transition period or were completely off of it whereas to in La Liga you ever rarely see Barca or Madrid being in a transition period that is if they even are they still end up with the la Liga title except in some cases where atletico came out on top.
Lazio really looked like they had hit the point under Sarri where they should be challenging for the league title this season.
At the end of last season they were playing like the 3rd best team in Italy behind only inter and Napoli (and arguably were the 2nd best once Napoli tailed off having secured the title so early) really looked like everyone had fully absorbed sarri’s ideas and were about to hit the same kind of form his Napoli did in their third season where they nearly won the title.
Now this season they look completely mid very little fluency probably fighting for a Europa league spot - Milinkovic Savic was a big loss but one player going shouldn’t have made them so stale.
There’s always something about Lazio which I cannot understand, they can be actually so good only to completely be the opposite. And it’s true financial backing has a huge part to play in it and as well getting in the right players for the right amount.
Surprised as on good or bad surprise? Than Union Berlin. Started with promising transfers and 3 wins in 3 games and then 14 games without a win, last place in the Bundesliga, and only 1 draw vs. Nepoli.
Either… You can go for both… And true, Union Berlin has not been the same at all.
Man Utd - In a negative way. Didnt think they could be worse than last 3 years, but here we are.
I don’t think Ten Hag even knows what he’s doing or trying to do 🤷🏻♂️
In a bad way , Lyon and Bournemouth
Union Berlin has to be the worst
Leverkusen.
Ipswich
Spurs for sure. Who’d expect the kind of game they play. What great fun. Hope Maddy stays healthy.

I’m not really surprised by Leverkusen.
Last season they were showing extremely good things and their transfer window was top notch.
Agreed but Alonso has been doing wonders for them.
Girona/Leverkusen
