You probably know already that Steam Deck LCD is on sale right now but people are also mass selling it which resulted in a huge price drop of used Decks. It’s doable to get a used 64gb for almost half the price of the new 512 OLED version. I believe soon after OLED hype fades away used SD LCD price will increase considering it’s not that much worse than the new OLED version. *IMO

I didn’t bought one until now. Generally: didn’t really needed it. But gave in now, couldn’t resist anymore…

I have the 512 GB classic Steamdeck and frankly I would not switch. Hell I wouldn’t even buy an OLES deck now, given that you can get the 512 GB for less then 400€

I’m selling my my lcd model (which will be 512gb after I take out my 2tb SSD and replace it with the OLED 512) for $200 to a student of mine. He is super into Linux and open source software so I figured I’d cut him a deal. I could get more out of my deck but he couldn’t afford more than that.

Never released in Australia so I got it through a third party reseller a year ago. Using discounted gift cards I got a good deal and bought a 64gb LCD for $700aud (down from $770aud). They are currently selling second hand for… $800aud. Which would be great if I was selling but I was looking for one for my partner

I’d love to get my hands on one but it’s hard to pull the trigger and have faith that it wasn’t already put through the ringer or modded incorrectly. I’m always hesitant about buying used gaming PCs from folks for the same reason.

That said, I got $300 ready if I can get one shipped to northern MS.

Got a LE OLED coming this Friday. First steam product. Technically not my first steam purchase considering a $5 deposit back in the day for a deck that eventually got refunded. Now having OLED and a better battery I’m all in this time.
