Thought this would be an interesting thought experiment to see what people thought, going by the quality of football but also connections you may have had to certain tournaments. What would be your ranking?
For me 2022 just had everything, two elites in Messi and Mbappe at their best, the story with Messi trying to win it, bags of goals - perfect. 2006 with Zidane stealing the show albeit for wrong reasons, still a classic. Also I don’t think any of these finals were bad, but some were definitely not as entertaining.

2022 will be hard to beat, it had everything. But other than that 2006 was and still is very memorable. Zidane going from hero to villain. I still remember the shock when he turned round and headbutted materassi. I couldn’t believe it.
