Before you say “You shouldn’t have done that” Or “Dummy”, I really like the car, it’s different just like me. The car I speak of is a Mini Cooper S 2005, 120k showing. Everything works, windows, cruise, ect., great tires, run flats. The thing just stopped running at a gas station, just one hour after I signed the papers. The car is mine free and clear, but I have not seen that car since that night, a month+ ago now. The car lot I bought the Mini from, has had it in and out of its own shop and a “Mini” shop several times now. To get too the point…I will need and MUST learn how too work on the thing myself, when and IF I ever drive it again. If anyone has any real advice on the 05Mini Cooper S, please reply and I’ll look you up at a later date. Thanks and God Bless!!

Different engine so not too sure, but my 2011 with 230k on it has gone through 3 high pressure fuel pumps, 2 low pressure fuel pumps, and the fuel pump relay (which is soldered into the passenger footwell fuse panel) desoldered itself once. So see where that relay is in that gen and check that, and test fuel pressure. First high pressure fuel pump went out at around that mileage. (To clarify I know it’s a different engine and it may not have the same issues but this is what mine did so may be a good thing to look into)
