I bought a f-150 2011 6 cylinder 5.7l engine truck a couple days ago. 70k miles. Financed 14k.

I Noticed the gauge lights are out on the fuel level and transmission fluid temp. Took it back to dealer and was told its the whole part (cant remember what its called) and that ford no longer makes the part. Ok. I think thats ok. I can still read the dials. They still work. The blue lights are just out.

Then as i was driving through the parking lot, i felt two hard shifts from first to second. I think thats what it was anyway. Then it stopped. I went stop to go testing it and it didnt do it again. It shifts beautifully for the past 2 days. Lots of power.

It has a lifetime warranty on powertrain as long as i follow the service schedule with certified mechanics. I have about 13 more days to change my mind. I can take it into ford (a different place than where i bought it) on the 29th for diagnostics and have the trans checked.

What do u guys think?
