Is it just me or does it seem that many teams have difficulties penetrating in the final third - specially when oposing team has a tight defense.
Many choose to play wide to get closer to goal line but then tend to play it back to get another angle and build from there again. Seems to me it is specially difficult going trough the middle. Am I in the wrong?
With the influence of Pep, we see a much larger focus on ball retention and rigid tactics - so teams are a lot more risk averse and less direct in their attacking. Obviously retaining the ball isn’t very incisive when some teams have two banks of players behind the ball.
