Stickfight the game (two stickmen battle with weapons)

Overcooked 1 & 2 (work together and keep the kitchen moving)

Terraria (2D Minecraft with bosses to defeat)

Vampire survivors (if cod zombies arcade, Bloons tower defence and doom all had a baby)

    Rocket league (car football (soccer))

Keep talking and nobody explodes (one of you has the instructions, the other has the bomb. Work together and defuse it)

Tricky towers (fun twist on Tetris. Battle each other in a race to the top)

There are some non-multiplayer games that can also work as co-op games. Puzzle games like Baba is you, mystery games like Return of the Obra Dinn, or narrative games like The Walking Dead are more like watching a series than playing a game, doesn’t really matter who holds the controller.

Great idea. We played As Dusk Falls together and had a blast but I wasn’t sure about walking dead as I don’t know if it has the same coop features. We love overriding each others choices at the last minute to add in crazy twists but not sure walking dead would have the same effect by just deciding which choice to pick.
