I recently acquired a 2011 Toyota Camry Base model. The current tire sizes on car come to 215/45R17. The actual OEM size is 215/60R16. The previous owner changed the tires for a sporty look. I wanted to weigh in the benefits of changing back to the OEM spec as it is a costly change and I don’t want to change for no reason.
Thanks.
Go to tirerack dot com and check the diameter of each of your tire choices. As long as the diameter is the same that solves one potential problem. The other potential problems are the backspacing and offset of the wheels that were installed. So long as the wheels sit properly for the suspension and the rolling diameter/circumference are the same you are ok
