I just specced out and bought an ice grey Taycan, but I’m having second thoughts between Ice Grey Metallic and White. On one hand ice grey is a really nice and unique colour that you don’t often see on the road, so it naturally stands out. On the other hand white feels like the safe option, and it might even be nicer. I don’t know! Debatable! What do you guys think? Ice grey or white?

Whichever NPC color you choose is fine.
Not sure if you guys listen to the PCA Insider podcast but they are always ragging on white. It’s my favorite. Nothing like white exterior with black interior… unless you get some really cool PTS color.
Get what you like. The Ice Grey is pretty unique.
I think IGM is a very modern, contemporary color vs white being a classic color. Both are great choices imho; just a matter of personal preference. I think IGM is the most current, modern, almost futuristic color Porsche offers. That being said, I’m a sucker for plain, muted colors on Porsches(chalk 911 allocation is arriving in 4 days).
Ice Grey Metallic and it’s not even close. It is one of the most compelling Porsche currently has. It’s a chameleon with this awesome blue/grey look. Rarely does it look “plain white.” But it’s white enough that all of the accents pop. It also has a great “wet” look to it.
That’s an IGM Taycan next to my white 911. I saw it in person and I thought it looked great.
I’m a big fan of base white because if you ever need paint work, there is no need for them to blend adjacent panels. It makes it super easy to match and not worry too much if the body shop can’t handle it.
One vote for ice grey metallic, I had so much fun in this car:
I love white cars as the next person but metallic paints are so dynamic that its fun seeing diff shades it gives off from diff angles, time of the day, etc.
I think it’s sad that shades of gray dominate the car market. But my car is Chalk so I guess I’m part of the problem.
I’m doing IGM on my 992T order. I’ve seen it on a Taycan and it looks great.

That was option 1! Got the 911 a few years ago and figured it’s time for an introduction to EV’s
I’d recommend ice Grey metallic. In person, it looks stunning! Like many have mentioned, it changes with lighting, and it pops even with overcast. Also, I think it is a very safe choice, as it is not super vibrant. Just my 2 cents

I have a 911 ice grey metallic and absolutely zero regrets on choosing it. It is beautiful and it garners a lot of compliments. One of the easiest and ultimately most satisfying choices I made in the configuration.
