Use my 911 as my primary car if the roads are clear and dry. However, I wanted a little bit more noise from the exhaust. Since I don’t have the PSE, my understanding is that the valves open around 4500 rpm and I notice it sounds great in the mid to top range but quite quiet in the low end. Will a PSE or a aftermarket exhaust solve this issue without it droning inside the cabin?

Search for EVOX valved exhaust. Absolutely amazing.
Yes. I installed PSE on my C4S. Given the S, you have to do less work to install it (and it’s cheaper). I like it a lot (sounds very Porsche-like), but I’ve seen/heard some monster aftermarket ones. Just not for me.
