Heyyy! The last few weeks i’ve had a new 2023 prius and it’s worked incredibly well. It’s at 700 miles now. The issue is, I live in an insanely hilly area, and I therefore basically can’t follow the break in rules (Sustajned RPM from the hills, etc)
I’m worried this will have a meaningful impact on me later on… is there anything I can even do about this?
Just follow the recommended service intervals in the manual. Toyota has been doing 10k OCIs for almost 15 years now and there is tons of data out there (black stone labs, etc) showing that the oil is just fine on those intervals.
