I wonder if anyone can help me. I’ve seen lots of posts about audio issues but so far I havent found the exact fix I need.

My issue:

I have my steam deck connected to a jsaux 7-in-1 dock that goes to HDMI3 of my LG CX. The Tv then goes to a JBL 9.1 soundbar via eArc (HDMI 2). With eArc selected on the tv as the audio output the steam deck cannot detect any audio devices and so disables the rembrandt audio device and uses the internal steamdeck speakers. If I click the dropdown on the rembrandt then the only option is “pro audio” which doesnt seem to do anything.

If I switch the TV to use its internal speakers then the steam deck detects them and I can now select Stereo on the rembrandt audio device. So at least I can do a workaround but I’d much rather get proper 5.1 surround via the bar.

Has anyone had a similar issue and knows of a fix?
