Beamng.Drive, D Gran tourismo and project cars 2 are my personal time sinks. 10/10 Would reccomend with rice
My experience with Beanng.drive was not very good, eternal loading screens and very low fps, i did a refund unfortunately. Is it better optimized for the deck nowadays?
I had no problems with beamng after its fall update. There is a disclaimer in the display settings that deck support is still expeirimental, but playing vanilla, no mods on a smaller map i was able to pull 45-60fps with med-low settings.
If you tried to load a enormous map like italy, the game seemed to run out of memory and crash out while loading textures.
I also could not get mods to work, but that might just be me, because they arnt working on my new pc either.
Unconventional: Flatout series. Such a blast to play against real people but works fine in single player too. I may be wrong but I remember it works well on SD.
I would recommend Horizon Chase Turbo if you Like Arcade racers in the Tradition of old Games Like Lotus or top Gear. Also the Senna dlc If you Like These old 16bit era Formular 1 Games.
Wreckfest is an absolute blast on the SteamDeck, runs great and looks amazing! Dirt Rally 2.0 is also great!!
Unconventional: Horizon Chase Turbo is a great Retro racing game ( Outrun style) with absolute brilliant music, headphones on recommended!!
