With an SD 8 Gen 1 the SOT has never been great. I’m using Wi-Fi most of the time and even then it’s draining as if I have two SIMs draining cell data.

Are there any Routines or settings you recommend? I’ve already done all the standard things like deep sleeping apps, power saving mode (usually when under 50% with a Routine), updates and data intensive stuff only over Wi-Fi, and have cleared the cache partition/factory reset.

What about the setting in developer options to turn off mobile data when on Wi-Fi, would that help?

I upgraded from S22+ Exynos to S23U for bigger screen and possibly efficient battery life. No regrets.

I couldn’t last a whole year with it. Sold it and ended up buying the S23. Best choice I’ve made, I will keep this phone for at least 4 years and I’m sure it will still run as smooth as day one. The S22 was great in almost every aspect, but the battery life makes all of it not worth it for me.
