I hate to be that guy, but I think Cristiano is being used wrong in the Portugal national team. While the whole team are passing to each other(which they Do very well) , Ronaldo is placed in the penalty area waiting for a header. Not only is the team losing a lot of opportunities by passing high balls into the penalty area(which end up being defended against). They are also losing a a crucial part of Ronaldo’s abilities to finish balls from outside the box. I don’t think it has a lot to do with Ronaldo, because I have watched the way he played in Al Nassar. I would love to hear others opinions on this.

    Ronaldo has 10 goals for a reason, sure he probably would be better utilized on the bench but Portugal were never gonna struggle in this group. Ronaldo won’t start everygame in the euro’s thats for sure

    I’m a Messi fan but when you have the best finisher of all time on your team, you build the whole attacking tactic around him.

    I believe that even at 38 you put him into a world class team that works towards feeding him and he will still score a lot.

    I don’t think they’re using him wrong
