Raitis rides on YouTube is the first person to make a video on the upcoming 2024 WRX TR, which basically solves most of the issues that enthusiasts had with the 2022 WRX outside of the styling. Let me know what you think! The anticipated price being $48k though is pretty ridiculously steep.

I have a 2020 with the performance package and was honestly thinking if they ever made one for the VB I would upgrade but that price is ridiculous so yeah no. 10k higher than mine was otd. I think them adding all the eyesight stuff is dumb, keeping it bare bones (lighter, cheaper and more engaging) with the recaros and brembos would’ve been a huge success imo.

Thumbs up for: nice Brembo brake upgrade, nicer tires (but who “rallies” on elastic band tires?), alleged better suspension tuning, no sunroof, and some nice interior touches. So far so good.
But $10k+tax for that?!? You have got to be kidding me!

$48k is just wild. I remember my friend buying a new 2007 wrx for a little over $20k OTD back in 2008, the dealer was trying to get them off the lot to make room for the 2008’s.
Rather get Kia than subaru.
So… more money than a GRC, CTR, or Golf R while offering no better performance and still hideous looking. Hard pass. What a joke. I’ll keep my GRC thanks.
