    Santi for the nostalgia, great fucking player, but Odegaard is probably better.

    So Odegaard, and of course, Fabregas, no doubt on Cesc.

    People not voting for Cesc either are too recent to have watched him, or not voting for him emotionally

    He is one of the best midfielders to ever play for the club and easily the best on this list

      Or they are excluding him because it’s a list of 2010 and afterwards, so he only has one year for that time period.

      Completely understandable that a Cazorla and Özil have auch high votes, given they have much more than 1 year for this contest.

        Rice almost won with less than 6 months and Saliba has only played a little over a year. Cesc should be in.

          Could argue that it’s the recent 6 months, compared to 13 years ago, but yeah that’s a fair point for Rice.

    If i’m looking at them as a pair I’d much rather have Odegaard + Cazorla than any other pairing. Ozil has a shout by himself but without any defensive work you’d have to pair him with someone other than those two like Fabregas or Xhaka.

    The only true contenders should be ozil, cesc, santi and ramsey. Ozil for his magic, santi because he’s fun as hell to watch and you’ll only need one corner kicker and have all free kicks covered. Cesc for his pinpoint passing and ramsey for his engine and goal threat

    But if we only get to choose two it’s probably ozil and cesc. That’s saying a lot because Santi is absolutely amazing. But prime ozil just has that x factor and cesc’s passing is just too good.

    If we talk about ceilings, ozil is just on another dimension when he’s peak
