Curious to see which games have gotten performance boosts since the SD launched.

    Elden Ring got a nice boost. I can play it docked at 1080p 30fps now as before it struggled at that resolution.

      I wouldn’t necessarily consider FPS a performance metric, it’s more of a cosmetic preference. The point does stand however that other performance metrics improved across the board with each update.

    Tomb Raider used to get me 60 with dips on High settings with TDP limit at 14W. Now I get locked 60 at ultra with the same TDP. The games looks really good on the deck now

    All of them except those that already reached 60fps :) …

    cause

    • the Os,
    • the compositor,
    • the compatibility layers (DX12 has the most changes),
    • the bios
    • the firmware

    keep to get improvements since day 1.

    there is even input lag reductions with latest firmware and you can even undervolt the cpu / GPU with latest bios …

    And there is probably still place for improvements …

    Sometimes you also get specific games optimizations from the developer of the game or from Valve (ex: Elden Ring)
