Wow, I just got one from Costco for $50 cheaper. I think I have to return it now and get the Best Buy one for $200 off.
Got mine for $1899 preorder because I already had BB Plus.
Same, I price marched through the chat and they gave me the $100 back through rewards certificates
Deflation is here man. No one has any money. I would expect post-holiday prices to look drastically different than pre-holiday prices in many categories.
Different as in lower after the holidays?
It’s just a little worse than the educational discount. That’s how they get yah.
So different than come Spring time, expect Apple to make a cheaper MacBook.
Think M1 inside the body of the old Haswell/Broadwell-era MacBook Air.
Don’t you get a $200 gift card buying at Apple though?
Nice. Here the cheapest M3 Pro equipped Macbook Pro is at 2348,50 euro’s. Without tax 1854,92. Or 2025,11 USD excluding taxes.
The base M3 version can be had for 1849 euro’s tho.
I am jealous of the US pricing ngl. Even with tax it’d be cheaper.
I’ve bought my wife a surprise flight to visit her friend in the USA, the savings on my new MacBook she will bring home pays for the flights
Would it not be possible to just buy it on a VPN and ship it over there?
When it arrives, the customs office is keeping it, till you pay the tax for it. So basically it would be the same if you buy it inside the country.
I know for replica watches and clothes it won’t happen or happens rarely if you declare that the package is worth less than 21 euro, I guess there’s some shady business out there which maybe resells apple products this way maybe?
You dont need a vpn do buy something in another country dude.
well, the base m3 costs R$ 16649 or roughly 3400 USD, cheapest m3 pro is 4250 USD in Brazil
we’re all thankful that our government places 92% import fees/taxes on these items
You gotta somehow protect the mom and pop local laptop factories that grow them in the jungle, though
For everyone saying these prices are good. Are all those low storage, low ram, low core models? Prices on anything above 1tb Storage & 16 ain’t that still 2,499-3k$?
That config is equivalent to $2350 in my country 😬😅. Jealous of US pricing. 😂
Yes. The MacBook in the picture is the 14” M3 Pro with no upgrades. Typically $2,000
😂 And my supervisor stay asking why I haven’t switched to Mac yet 😂 I’m looking at for the storage & ram upgrade for my job 2,600$ USD or 403,596$ JMD before shipping 😂
Is there going to be a black friday sale on macs?
It’s still $2,900 here.
After the M1 was released I really wanted an M1 Macbook, but each gen seems a little worse than the previous one?
Starting with reducing SSD speed, now the M3 being slower for some tasks than the M2 and also base ram still being 8gb.
I’ll just stay in windows for a while, or maybe move to linux since everything I use now works on linux anyway.
It seems Apple is shifting the priorities for the M3 line. M1 and M2 focused on performance, M3 focuses on efficiently at the sacrifice of removing performance cores.
A MacBook Pro in 2023 that doesn’t support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (yes, it has USB4, but not the most common high-performance SSD spec, 3.2 Gen 2x2)… and a base spec that can’t support two external displays.
I’m shocked, simply shocked it’s already being discounted.
Glad I got an M1 Max
Amazon currently has it for $1799
In Greece the cheapest available Base m3 Pro is at 2500, with the same amount of money you guys get the m3 Pro we get an M1 Pro base model
I like how you think $50 is a sale
Don’t forget the ram bandwidth. M3 is a worse than m2
