My work in progress, going for late 60s traditional chopper/bobber look. Any ideas on what to change maybe?
Ditch the split tanks, go peanut. Or wassle
I love peanut/wassle tank but I don’t want to cut an original frame. Will probably put peanut if I have another frame that’s already been cut. That split tank is also an original 58 “CVO” colorway from that year, so kinda want to keep that
Okay then less boomer seat and maybe like a bates then with a pillion pad.
It looks good as is, but since you asked if do two things:
- stand the sissy up a little bit
- either shorter seat springs combined with a new pivot bracket that lowers the front OR a new seat entirely that doesn’t pivot.
These suggestions are spot on.
A '57 straight leg? Very rare. Nice bike. Very nice.
An interesting air cleaner might help. But it is way cool as is
Drag pipes and chrome back fender? It looks 🔥
Got them drag pipes already! Still thinking of either chrome or green rear fender just like the tank. Thank you!
I’ve never been a fan of those invisible pipes. Chrome Drag pipes would look better. Just me tho
Lol 😆 I got those already! gonna install that once I install the primary, clutch, and rear chain 👍
No change looks great. Unless you Put apes on it.
Thanks! Will definitely putting apes after everything’s done!
