Anyone else feel like this? I get that they are required but my god it makes the weekend boring. Betting isn’t as good, the fantasy football isn’t on and the other games other than my own countries just don’t interest me, whereas I take a massive interest in most clubs fortunes in the top 2 leagues in England.

It’s even worse when England play on a Friday because then there isn’t even a decent game to look forward to on sat/sun.

I’m a chesterfield fan so at least I always get my own team playing, for now that is. I reckon in 5 years we will be in the prem and brimming with internationals… Maybe.

Only issue with international breaks is the injuries like Gavis major knee injury, which is a huge blow to Barcelona aswell. I can’t seem to think that clubs don’t like their key players getting injured on intl. duty in the middle of the season.

Have to volunteer so many Saturdays a year at work so they’re good for that at least.

Not just boring, but also extremely nerve-wracking because I never know how many casualties we’re going to get (again).

Only thing is that the players would only play together once a year. They do need a few get togethers throughout the season. I get it. I just don’t like it

Not like they don’t get hurt playing and training with their club or doing stupid things around the house

I got stoned, watched Lord of the Rings, watched some Rugby, watched the Darts, Watched some lower league football. Was a good weekend.

I don’t hate international breaks, yet as I can’t really get into them when they’re like this. I can’t get the fire going watching England play at this level, so I just don’t, I find other things to do instead.

For me it’s the opposite, I prefer the international breaks to the leagues. Maybe it’s because I don’t care about things like betting and fantasy football.

Yep, especially since my team is absolutely smashing it in the league (PSV). I don’t want any breaks

Plenty of other sports to watch this weekend. Cricket World Cup final, grand slam of darts semis and final and the snooker champion of champions final to name but a few

nah mate, international football is what it is about. At least footballers have some sort of connection with the team they are playing and they are representing their country.

Club football is just a job for footballers and 99% of them would change the club if they got more money from a different club.

I do get the need for it. I just hate the crushing disappointment when I realise there aren’t any decent games on at the weekend.

And you think France vs Gibraltar and England vs Malta is remotely interesting? You’re correct in everything you say however international football with the exception of 6 weeks every 2 years is entirely irrelevant and uninteresting.

Ok? That’s 2 games out of 50 EURO Qualifiers games? You have plenty of other games to chose from. Also, not every club game is interesting either.
