A bullshit setting that is by default turned on and makes your phone slower, hotter, and drains battery faster. Disable it, the phone will restart and will be faster. I haven’t tried this on S phones but the A53 and A54 get significantly faster by disabling this.
Lol wow… glad I saw this. I’ve had an A53 for over a year and just the other day was going through trying to free up some extra space - and in the course of looking through a bunch of menus and whatnot I saw this setting. When I read the little synopsis I thought oh cool that sounds like a good idea, but glad to know in practice it’s BS and I’ll be disabling it now. Wish I’d known about it when I first got the phone.
If someone’s actually interested, ram plus is basically swap as far as i’m concerned, which is just some storage that the system can use as ram when the actual ram is full.
To my understanding, RAM plus mixes system storage in the RAM soup, and since it is a lot slower than RAM, the more system storage you select the slower your phone will become. It would have been ok to have if the system was capable to prioritize actual RAM cells and only use storage GB in case of RAM overflow, but the moment you allocate storage as RAM the system has no way of knowing which is which, and cell selection is random.

Plus, it also helps your phone storage die

And storage is not as fast as ram, obviously
