I take delivery of my m340i next week and now im pissed. I know its a small nitpick/1st world problem, but im still irritated. We went from stitched nappa leather to this rubber crap.

Same reason they swap lots of stuff – it’s cheaper and their research indicates not enough people will care for it to make any difference.
