It connects in gaming mode but in desktop mode it just will not find the display and will not connect. The adapter disaplays the hdmi perfectly with the steam deck but not the official steam dock. I will not display the image in desktop mode.

What is happening with this product? It has been one of the worst experiences I ever had with the steam deck since it never and I mean it. NEVER WORKED properly (disconnecting randomly, having to plug out and plug in the cablet to work, etc, etc)…

    It’s truly awful. I can’t get it to detect a 120hz monitor. Just says it’s 60hz and can’t do 40hz. I’ve got a basic usb c to hdmi and it detects 40hz. It’s insane. Spoke to their support. They’ve not got a answer for me

    The official docks are horrible. This has been an issue since the beginning and like I said no amount of updates will fix whatever garbage they put in it
