Whenever I put a headset in my Steam Deck’s 3.5mm stick the sound still comes out the speakers. The audio level also gets stuck and only a reboot fixes the audio level 🤷‍♀️ I try to force audio output in settings to external but it just reverts back to speakers.

Anyone else with this issue or have any fix for it?

    I went to settings and change the audio output there, a few back and forth and it worked, but it’s definitely bugged.

    Try going desktop mode …settings…sound…selectheadphones…backtogamemode

    That worked everytime

    I switched to a USB dac awhile ago. Get one, a $20 one is fine. I have my speakers connected to it, the headset I have is USB and is a separate device.

    w/ Google Meet speaker audio doesn’t go to the headset in Firefox, but it does in Chrome.
