Decided to change the spark plugs and save a few hundred $$. I’m pretty handy, so it’s wasn’t an intimidating job. However, upon pulling the first of the rear plugs, I found it to be covered in oil. This is more than I want to fix. Do I finish the plug job and put it back together and drive it to the shop? Or do I neatly package the parts and tow it over?

Do you already have the intake off? If you do you’re almost there. Just need to pull the valve covers and replace the spark plug tube seals. Valve cover gasket sets come with the tube seals. If there any joints around the gasket surface like the timing cover then put a dab of silicone on it when you go back together. That and some dielectric grease for the coils and you’re home free
