You have to do a bit of a first-time setup and use the touchscreen/bring up a mouse cursor to get past the launcher, but the game itself works perfectly with its controller interface.
It runs very flawlessly in terms of performance. I can play veteran dungeons with other players or do a solo endless archive with no issues. You can set up console-like controls right in the game. The only problem is the first setup and modifying the controls to use one D-pad as a mouse to click on the Play button in the launcher (to not tap on the screen and leave a fingerprint), and after the game has started you need to force close the launcher in the Steam menu, because for some reason it consumes too much resources.
