I just need advice.

Depends on where you live. It looks like the non-American variant of the S24 series is again going to have Exynos chips. We all know that Samsung skipped a year and took their time while using SD8G2 in S23 series to make the next Exynos “better”, but I personally take this with a HUGE grain of salt, since Samsung also tried to “fix” Exynos with E2100 after messing up so badly on E990. And the result was they didn’t succeed that much, and not even that, they actually made Snapdragons worse too by producing 888 and 8G1 in their fabs.

Nobody can guarantee and make me believe that E2400 is indeed finally going to be a good SoC until it comes up and gets reviewed, so hold your breath if you’re not living in NA until the detailed phone reviews get posted.

exynos 2100 is really close to sdg 888. Samsung DID fix the exynos with 2100. Then horribly messed it up with exynos 2200 again.

Except for the 24/U. That is rumored to have SD8G3 everywhere.

You literally will not notice the difference in performance. Maybe wait out the reviews

If you live in the US, I’d say wait. My sole reason is the updated cellular modem from Qualcomm. The Qualcomm X75 cellular modem will offer better connectivity on 5G.

For now, we know nothing for sure about the upcoming S24 series and their processor. It could be good, it could be as bad as the S22 series…

What’s sure is that the S23+ is good, Samsung nailed the energy efficiency and that changes everything.

So either you need a smartphone NOW and the S23+ is a good choice, no doubt, or you can wait and see if the S24 are (maybe, a little bit) better. I won’t expect a revolution.

I was in the same boat, my phone (Pixel 7 Pro) has been acting up recently and I am fed up with it. I did some research and saw that the S23 Ultra is a really really nice phone. All the reviews claim it’s a great phone. But I was wondering and a little worried that the S24 will be better. I ordered the S23 Ultra today, getting 25% off and a $300 trade in through the Samsung Shop app. The way I look at it, the S23 is a good, already established phone so I know what I’m getting. If the S24 is the greatest phone ever invented then I can always trade up. Hope this helps you decide.
