In year 2017 my father told me, if i repair his wrecked laptop (Lenovo Z500 Touch i5 3230m GT740m) it will be mine. This laptop was dead. Screen work just in 90 degrees angle, ribble cable for “power on” button was ripped by half, screen opening mechanism is wrecked by now. I repaired it, solder cable pin by pin, work with 90 degrees, but two years ago i bought PC, and my old laptop wasn`t needed anymore. Then year ago i take it from box for work, buy new cable, and after that screen working angle is wider. I had used it for today and it works fine. But it has some problems that i think are enough for new laptop. Screen opening mechanism started to uses power button sometimes (laptop go sleep or turns off) while moving screen, battery can work just for 1 hour.

So my question is: Do i need to buy new laptop or use this to its end?
