Has anyone else had issues loading baldurs gate 3 Since the steam deck update?

It gets as far as the black screen with the spinning steam logo then bunts me back to the steam bg3 menu again.

I am able to play other games, but BG3 won’t work.

I have tried changing from proton experimental to the latest stable version but it still doesn’t work.

I verified the game files and there is no issues there. Does anyone have any other ideas please? Thank you so much!
