I mean we have already seen people overclock the steam deck to a ridiculous like 25 watts already and it not completely blow up. With a higher efficiency and also ram speed improvement that were one of the biggest bottlenecks back then even with overclocking it seems like we can see some nice tangible safe boosts

      I’m thinking uv oc - no reason everyone shouldn’t uv/oc…

      My current lcd bios doesn’t let me uv but I should have the oled this week and it’s bios appears to have uv baked in.

    Ya’ll need to watch The Phawx, 15w setting on an LCD vs OLED deck are not equivalent, the wattage cap is stricter on the OLED resulting in less average power use (which makes sense, how else are you supposed to get those massive battery life gains.) I’d be curious what happens if you throw the OLED chip the same amount of power as the LCD.

      Yea but the framerate still manages to be marginally higher. Which means with the same wattage it must be a good amount better like you said
