Ramsey might be the most overrated player of the Emirates era. He was good, but inconsistent. His peak version is lesser than the peak version of Cazorla, Ozil, Odegaard, or Cesc. People have an inflated sense of his level.

I’ve always wondered why Ramsey was regarded so highly. He was a sieve at midfield and inconsistent when he started as an attacker. He had a blazing half season and some memorable cup goals but I thought the move to Juventus showed his true level. At one point on this sub, a lot of folks would’ve rather seen Ramsey start over Cazorla. That was irritating.
