Sorry if this is already covered (couldn’t find anyting that fit my situation). i just switched from eastlink to telus. telus supplied a arris dg3270a and Eastlink didn’t want the Actiontec T3200M back. the telus router is in my basement and i have an unused coax cable from there to my living room (where the eastlink router was). i’m thinking that since i have a free router from eastlink that i can set it as moca over the coax from the telus unit. But i’m not sure how to. i’m reading a lot of stuff but it’s not consistant. Anyone have experience or recommendations? Thanks.

Even if you do the typical setup (disable DHCP, set an IP within the Telus LAN range), it will be interesting to see if the T3200M can connect with the Telus MoCA bridge. ‘gist: I’m thinking that the T3200M is bonded MoCA 2.0 and likely uses the same Broadcom MoCA chip that has made the Actiontec WCB6200Q incompatible with MoCA 2.5.
