when i tried to shrink the steamOS home partition and extend the windows partition i accidently destroyed my windowss installation. when trying to fix it the steamOS boot option also disappeared, so i went to boot from file, and where the steamcl.efi file was supposed to be i only found grubx64.efi file, adn when clicking it it booted to steam deck and it seems like normal. i’m pretty sure it isn’t good tho so how can i fix it? i also preffer not loosing my data if it’s possible.

you can download the steam os image from steam official site on your usb then open up in the bios boot options ( hold - minus button + power button) and install it

that just means grun (the bootloader) lost where that efi file is. Don’t worry everything is perfectly intact and this is a known quirk of grun. I’d suggest rebuilding or re-configuring grub of you look online without changing anything related to it
