Performance on either isn’t particularly great.
They are both quite close to each other. Just Intel has the better single threading, where as the Ryzen has the better multi core and battery life due to using full cores and a better node. (TSMC 7nm vs Intel 10nm rebranded to Intel 7)
If you’re just watching movies and typing word documents and will be near a wall socket within 5 hours. Both are suitable.
