I’m at a convention and I was planning to watch a movie with a friend on the deck. I dock it and set it up, but after 10 minutes, the screen dims. This happened when I first got the deck and I simple changed the battery settings.
When I tried doing this, the settings either aren’t saving at all, or revert back immediately. Because of this, we can’t watch anything without having to tap the mouse every 5 minutes. I dont usually dock my deck, but I was on vacation with my mother a month ago and showed her a few shows. Nothing like this happened them. I didn’t change any settings, so this was suddenly an issue tonight.
I tried looking online for solutions. There was a thread about it, but there weren’t any fixes. I also tried searching this sub and found nothing, hence my post. Is there something wrong with my aoftware, or is anyone else having this issue?

If you are in game mode check the new settings in the display section.
In desktop mode tap the battery icon, there’s a checkbox to inhibit screen dimming and sleep.

I’m in desktop mode… I tried that, but it keeps doing it. It doesn’t save my settings.
