Just went and test drove one, still not a huge fan of the blocky front. Just wondering if I’ll get over it, I’ve been saving for one and can almost justify the purchase.
My biggest takeaway from it is how exposed the front radiator is… is there a way to protect this from rocks? Seems like an expensive trip on the road if one hits it at speed.
I thought it def looked better in person than in pictures. It grew on me.
Just looked at both the M2 and M4 today. Some might call me delusional when I say that the M4’s external appearance has grown on me. I cannot say the same for the M2. I wanna like it. I’m not there.
The front and side of the M2 has grown on me. The rear is always worse than I remembered.
The M3 though, that thing is a complete loss.
The M2 factory race cars are getting VERY high marks from competitive drivers.
G80 grew on me, and I bought one. M2 is a lost cause though. Seems like they were trying to copy GT2 and both of those cars aren’t that pretty.
Nope. Nope. Nope.
I’m sure it drives great.
Has it grown on me?
Nope. Nope. Nope.
I couldn’t care less how good it looks. 1.8t/ 4000 pounds are too heavy for a 2 door car that can only sit 2 adults with a microscopic trunk. Especially when you consider the M3/4 basically having the same weight.
The trunk is honestly very big for the size of the car, it’s also only 3800lbs, 200 more than the m2 comp. It doesn’t feel like a heavy car at all when driving it
Why do you care how heavy it is? Genuinely curious. Virtually every review has mentioned the F87 is near driving perfection despite the weight.
I love it, drove it and fell even more in love.
G87 is probably the only new car where i have a desire to buy.
Check out Zunsport for grill covers.
I’m sure it’s a lovely car but the looks? Hell no. It’s not going to age well either unlike some people actually believe that it will. It’s like some cars in the 90s. Automotive manufacturers tend to go through the “ugly” phase every 30 years
No
I like it but can’t deny that the old one was better tho
I love my g82 but the M2 is a hard no for me…it looks ok in black
Mazda/fiata taillights?
It becomes tolerable in black.
Everytime I see a new M2, I kick myself for selling my 2019 M2C.
Same here. While I like the new 4 series lineup more than the old, the new 2 series is not for me.
Nope. The old one just looks even better now.
I hated it at first and thought it was a joke. It looked terrible in pics. However in person I kind of like how chonky it is, the front, and flares. Still hate the tail lights though, not sure how to fix that.
I like it. Debating getting one as a fun weekend car.
